Mosquito Primo strives to provide the best quality mosquito control with the least environmental impact. That means using better quality products, reducing the amount of pesticide applied at your home or cabin. Even though our treatments are safe for pets and people, mosquito control should be done in the most responsible way possible. Standard Control Options: While many of our competitors use a low cost bifenthrin formula that only targets adult mosquitoes, we focus on using products that break the mosquito life cycle. Our spray treatments use a micro-encapsulated formula featuring an adulticide and 2 insect growth regulators. These insect growth regulators are key to keeping the young mosquitoes from turning into biting adults. The advanced formula offers quick knock-down and a longer lasting residual than standard formulations. That means less spraying and less mosquitoes. To provide further protection, all our season-long customers will also have at least one In2Care unit to further protect their property. This unit attracts female mosquitoes and uses the predictable behavior of the mosquito to spread larvicide to breeding sites. These sites are often difficult to locate or treat with standard spraying treatments. For our lakefront customers: Many of our customers reside on beautiful lakefront properties. For these customers our standard season-long pricing includes a monthly shoreline treatment with our all-natural product. If you decide to hire another mosquito control company, please be sure they only use an all-natural product that is approved for use near water. Commonly used pesticides for mosquito control should not be allowed into our lakes and waterways. Zero Spray Option: This option is best for customers who want mosquito reduction in the safest way, with the least environmental impact. Utilizing multiple In2Care units, customers will experience mosquito reduction without pesticide spray applications. It is possible that customers utilizing only the In2Care traps will not experience as much a reduction in mosquitoes as when combined with our spray applications. However, this option is bee safe, butterfly safe and we will be able to show results based on the contents of the In2Care unit. Mosquito Primo will service the In2Care unit monthly by replacing the sachet, checking contents and replacing the water in the unit.
